In the United States Of America, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 (TCPA) specifically averts texts or calls to cell-phones from systems that are capable of ‘auto-dialling’. Hence, ‘Auto-dialling’ has been well-defined as the ability to store the details of a phone number and make a phone call.
